The 2011 Vera Bradley Outlet Sale will be held from Wednesday, April 13th, to Sunday, April 17th, at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The first two days will be limited to those who have tickets, and the final three days of the sale will be open to the public, with no tickets required.
Tickets for admission to the first two days (April 13 & April 14) go on sale Tuesday, February 1, 2011, and will be available through Ticketmaster and at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum box office. They are $5.00 each and are for the following session times:
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13 & THURSDAY, APRIL 14 (Tickets Required)
7:30 am – 10:00 am
11:00am – 1:30 pm
3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Tickets are limited to 3,000 each session. If you do the math, that means there will be 24,000 total available over the span of two days, which may sound like a lot, but I suspect they will go very quickly. I personally plan on purchasing mine as soon as they go on sale. Like many of you, I did not enjoy the long lines at last year’s sale and want to avoid them if I can!
Registration has been required to make purchases at the past two sales, and I believe this will be the case again this year. The Vera Bradley website states that “while tickets are not required during the weekend portion of the Sale, everyone who makes a purchase will be required to complete the free registration process”. This is different because there was previously a small fee to register. It appears now that they are waiving this fee. As soon as I know more information about the registration process, I will provide an update here.
